Quintin Davis Walker

Here is our first family picture.

Quintin Davis Walker was born on December 25th, 2009 at 4:30 pm. After 34 hours of labor the doctor decided to call for a Cesarean due to signs of distress. (I waited until 17 hours in to get the epidural. What a relief to not have to detach myself from 5 different machines, wrap the cords over my neck, and drag myself and my IV into the bathroom every hour!) He was 8 lb 10 oz and 21 ¼ inches long. He’s THE cutest little boy on earth…these pictures don’t do him justice. Ian and I couldn’t be any happier. Plus, the initial tests are showing no kidney problems as found in prenatal ultrasounds. Cross you fingers – all the prayers are creating a miracle!

Here’s a few pictures from the day he was blessed.

This picture is hilarious! Beware of nudage…

Last night Ian was changing Quintin’s diaper on the floor and of course he started peeing. I heard Ian exclaim “Ahh!” It was like a little fountain aimed straight at daddy’s privates. Then he started up again a second time. We were both almost rolling on the floor because it now looked like daddy had peed his pants. Ian waddled around the house until he finally got in the shower. We were cracking up.

Hooray! He really is super cute! And hilarious story about peeing on Ian--when James was a baby he peed on Nate at least once a week for the first 2 months.
